Heifaa Atfeh studied Arabic at the University of Aleppo. She worked at Hawa Smart Radio as a presenter, programme host and proofreader. When she moved to Germany, she continued to work as a journalist and proofreader whilst studying German. Heifaa Atfeh heads the editorial team at Amal in Hamburg.
