Björn Alpermann

Dr Björn Alpermann is the Chair of Contemporary Chinese Studies at the University of Würzburg. He is the spokesperson for the BMBF joint project "Creating the World from a Global Perspective: A Dialogue with China" („Welterzeugung aus globaler Perspektive: Ein Dialog mit China“). In 2021, his book Xinjiang - China and the Uyghurs was published (open access).
