Jacob Mchangama

Jacob Mchangama is a Danish lawyer, executive director of the Future of Free Speech Project at Vanderbilt University, and senior fellow at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression. He is the author of Free Speech: A History from Socrates to Social Media (2022) and co-author of The Future of Free Speech: Reversing the Global Decline of Democracy’s Most Essential Freedom (to be published in 2026).
