Dominique Favre

Dominique Favre is the Swiss Ambassador to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and the Republic of Liberia, also designated to the Republic of Sierra Leone and the Republic of Guinea. Previously, he served as Executive Director at the Board of the World Bank Group, representing the constituency of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Poland, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Switzerland, and served as Deputy Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the United Nations in New York. He has also held senior positions at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
