Irene Khan

Irene Khan is the UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of expression and opinion at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR). From 2001 to 2009, she was the first female Secretary General of Amnesty International and she launched the first global campaign to ‘Stop Violence Against Women’.
